PARENTING  -the Dutch way-

  • Dutch children get more sleep.
  • Dutch children are not pushed, but encouraged in the activities that they do.
  • They get the confidence from parents to do things on their own.
  • Young children learn to balance (walking, cycling, climbing and climbing) without constantly holding a hand.
  • Older children may play outside without supervision.
  • Children eat more often with the whole family at the table
  • They spend more time with their father and mother
  • They get more pleasure from small things and are also happy with second-hand toys.
  • And last but not least, Dutch children get chocolate sprinkles at their breakfast! :-P
